As Irving unpacks her own long-held beliefs about colorblindness, being a good person, and wanting to help people of color, she reveals how each of these well-intentioned mindsets actually perpetuated her ill-conceived ideas about race. Metamorphoses On Stage at Jones, November 8-10 Metamorphoses by Mary Zimmerman is an adaptation of the classic Ovid poem. The play premiered in 1996 with the title Six Myths at Northwestern University and later opened as Metamorphoses produced by the Lookingglass Theatre Company in Chicago in the fall of 1998. It opened off-Broadway and moved to Broadway during the 2001-2002 season. It has become known as “the play in the pool.” Don’t miss it!
