May 28, 2019 Dear Jones Students, End-of-Year Book Return - - ATTENTION, SENIORS! SENIORS, you must return all library books (no matter when you checked them out) or pay for them to be eligible to graduate. THIS Friday, May 31 the cost of any unreturned items will be added to your student debt. Please check your library account by following the directions in THIS DOCUMENT or by contacting me ([email protected]) if you have any questions about your responsibilities. All books checked out by freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are due on June 12. Individual notices have been distributed to all students and more notices will be sent out in the coming weeks. Jones Choir 2019 Composition Showcase The Jones Choir will give several short performances in various locations on Thursday, June 6, 5:00 - 8:00 PM. Eagle Leaders Presents Showcases Wednesday, May 29, and Friday, May 31, 6:00 PM Come see Eagle Leaders students perform monologues derived from interviews with members of the Jones community in the Jones Library. The theme of the May 29 performance is “Growing Up,” and the theme on May 31 is “Firsts.” The events runs about an hour including a brief talk back at the end. Tickets are FREE! AP Studio Art Show Friday, May 31, 3:30-4:30 PM, JCP Art Gallery (North Building, windows at State/Harrison) AP Art students have completed and submitted their portfolios and invite you to take a look at their work. Each student will display a small collection of their work, exemplifying the diversity and quality of work produced in the class. The exhibit will remain on display through June 11. The Second City at Jones! Come see The Second City touring company perform at JCP jon June 5, at 4:30 PM, in the Robin Bennett Theater. Tickets cost $5.00 in advance or $7.00 at the door and can be purchased from Comedy Club members in the south lobby in the morning and during ac lab periods. Thank you!
