September 16, 2021 Dear Jones Community! WELCOME AND WELCOME BACK! It’s been great being back in the building and in the library. I send out a library newsletter about every two weeks with information, news, and events related to the school library, JCP happenings, and the wider community. All issues are posted on the library website blog. Read on... “How Will We Live Together? is the name of the library’s Annual JCP Library Thematic Book List. The extended quarantine tested our strength, adjusted our personal priorities, and forced us to acknowledge many realities, injustices, and challenges that have been too long ignored. As we make our way back to school and other customs and routines, how can we sustain the conversations and efforts to demand equity for all? How will we live together? Explore the new book list (Google Slideshow or at the top of the Library Home Page) or swing by the library to check out the physical display of the books. Also explore thematic book lists from previous years: African American Racial Justice List ‘18-’19 and Immigrants and Refugees List ‘19-’20. Thanks to the Friends of Jones for contributing a grant for the purchase of How Will We Live Together titles! The DELUGE of Books Continues Unabated!
